These terms govern your use of aaradhyadt.github.io (the "site"), a personal portfolio owned and operated by Aaradhya Dev Tamrakar ("I", "me"). By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

1. What this site is

This is a personal, non-commercial portfolio presenting my education, projects, experience, and achievements. It is a static site with no backend server or database of its own, hosted on GitHub Pages.

2. Tiered access system

Most of the site is open to everyone. An optional Access Control system unlocks one extra content tier:

Higher Tier (VIP) — unlocked with a shared passcode or by signing in with any Google account.

This system exists to layer additional portfolio detail — it is not a user-account system, does not process payments, and creates no contractual relationship beyond these terms. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what data this involves.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Attempt to gain elevated access through any means other than an authorized method described above.
Probe, disrupt, scrape at abusive volume, or interfere with the site's normal operation.
Use the contact form to send unlawful, abusive, or unsolicited bulk (spam) messages.
Misrepresent your identity when signing in or submitting the contact form.

4. Content ownership

All original content on this site — writing, design, and code — is © 2026 Aaradhya Dev Tamrakar, unless otherwise credited. Project names, logos, and materials belonging to third parties (employers, fellowships, universities, and organizations referenced on this site) remain the property of their respective owners and are used here for identification and portfolio purposes only.

You may view and share links to this site. Reproducing substantial original content elsewhere without permission is not permitted.

5. Third-party services

The site relies on third-party services — Google Sign-In, Google Analytics, EmailJS, and Formspree — to provide sign-in, analytics, and the contact form. Your use of these features is also subject to each provider's own terms, linked from the Privacy Policy. I am not responsible for the availability or conduct of these third-party services.

6. No warranty

This site, including any information it presents, is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. I make reasonable efforts to keep content accurate and up to date but do not guarantee it is complete, current, or error-free at all times.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I am not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site.

8. External links

This site links to external platforms (GitHub, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and others). I don't control and am not responsible for the content or practices of those external sites.

9. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as the site changes. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
